RECOGNIZING OUR COMMON HUMANITY...THROUGH STORY 

The Collaborative Digital Storytelling Hub provides a unique forum for cultivating connections between cultural researchers, digital storytelling practitioners, community partners and storytellers.  The Collaborative Digital Storytelling Hub seeks to expand the reach and uptake of digital storytelling practice, and contribute to the sustainability of the digital storytelling movement.

The Hub is seeking sample digital stories to feature -- particularly those that illustrate:
  • Educational applications (digital stories produced in educational contexts)
  • Cultural studies or participatory research approaches to digital story
  • Health promotion applications
  • Advocacy or social justice approaches utilizing digital story
  • Community-building and/or community development through digital story
About the Moderator: Heather Gerhart has a M.A. in Cultural Sustainability.  She has also trained as a digital storytelling facilitator with StoryCenter and is the 2017 recipient of the Rory Turner Prize in Cultural Sustainability.
