Collaborative Digital Storytelling Hub

Research METHODS

The goal of this project was to explore the strengths of digital storytelling as a methodology for promoting Cultural Sustainability goals, and to develop recommendations or models for cultural work practices that promote equity.  The Collaborative Digital Storytelling Hub is informed by a year-long research project involving literature review, observant participation in digital storytelling workshops, survey data and semi-structured interviews with digital storytelling practitioners.  In the course of this project I have also trained with StoryCenter as a digital storytelling facilitator.
I am indebted to the many digital storytelling practitioners who contributed their time, perspectives and insights to this project.  This research project draws upon the experience and expertise of nearly 50 facilitators from around the world who shared their stories with me.  As such, this project is dedicated to giving back to the digital storytelling community of practice...
